We are talking about PAURI which is the district headquarters of Garhwal region in Uttarakhand and is still away from the commercial tourist destinations. Located on a high altitude of 1650 mtr. This place is surrounded by the pine trees, clear sky and also gives you a clear view of Ice clad mountain chains of Himalayas.

1. Ransi Stadium.
Ransi Stadium perched at an astounding altitude of 7000 feet above sea level is the second highest stadium in Asia. The stadium is located at a distance of 2.5 km from the town and is one of the highest points in Pauri where games and tournaments are held frequently.
2. Kandoliya Devi Temple
A holy shrine in peacefull ambience of dense forest located at just 2 KMS frot he main city of Pauri.
Kandoliya devta (Lord Shiva) is the deity of the temple.
3. Gagwarsyun Valley
This is a beautiful valley behind main city of Pauri where locals often spend their time during the evening as this is also known as the sunset point as per the locals. The valley view from backside of Pauri city is loved by all the travelers.
Two lakes are already under construction in this Valley near LWALI Bazaar whcih will be a future tourist spot as this will also increase employment as well as a similar tourist destination like Nainital.
4. Danda Nagraja Temple.
Danda Nagaraja temple is a popular temple of Garhwal region and famous place to visit in Pauri. Visitor from different place visit this temple to take blessings.
How to reach Pauri city
Pauri is well connected by motorable road with major destinations of uttarakhand state. Buses to pauri are easily available from ISBT Kashmiri gate, Delhi.
Option 1:- DELHI - KOTDWARA - PAURI CITY (308 KMS)
Option 2:- DELHI - RISHIKESH - DEVPRAYAG - PAURI CITY (365 KMS)
It takes around 4 hours to reach Pauri from both Rishikesh and Kotdwara.
